We offer car hire throughout the world through our two pronged approach.

  • There are contracts with two brokers who secure exceptionally competitive prices. Car hire excess reimbursement insurance is included, covering the excess fee on your deposit if the hire car is damaged or stolen.
  • There are preferred suppliers at El Balcón de Santa Ana, El Pueblito de Alfaix, Encosta Cabo Girão, Physkos, Coreggia, Rocha Brava and Santa Rosa.

We select our suppliers carefully to ensure the quality of the offering is commensurate with the price paid, and actively exclude suppliers whose practices are inappropriate.

ATOL Protection

A Flight Inclusive Multi-Contract ATOL Certificate is issued, and the booking becomes a Package Holiday when a car hire is booked at the same time as a flight.

Important Information

Prior to booking, please read the Terms & Conditions of the supplier, ‘HPB Travel Club Ltd – Car Hire General Information & Terms of Business’ (available here) and ‘HPB Travel Club Ltd – General Information & Terms of Business’ (available here).

If you elect to return the hire car at the same time or earlier than the collection time then the number of days will be as you expect - if you collect 15:00 on Monday and return 14:30 Wednesday - this will be 2 days hire. If you return the car at 16:00 you could be liable for another full day hire charge. If the company in question makes such a distinction the price will be shown later on in the online booking process.

Prior to booking your travel arrangements, you are advised to read the travel advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development (FCDO) Office. After you have made your travel arrangements, HPB Travel Club Ltd will contact you, should there be a substantive change in their advice.
